A video of Pipra police station of Supaul is becoming increasingly viral on social media. In the video, Pipra police station chief Inspector Sanjay Das is seen giving his consent to the illegal recovery by the clerk of the police station. In this 1 minute 17 second video, Inspector Sanjay Das is justifying Munshi’s illegal recovery. The viral video on social media is said to be from Wednesday night. Apart from the police station incharge, two-three other faces are also visible in the viral video. In the video, the police station incharge is seen trying to convince a woman. However, Amar Ujala does not confirm this video.
Munshi asked for expenses on complaint of assault case
According to local people, the incident took place on Wednesday evening, where a fight broke out between two parties over a land dispute in Tulapatti Panchayat Ward 3 under Pipra police station area. In this incident, three people from one party were seriously injured, taking the application of which the people from the injured party reached Pipra police station. But instead of taking the application in the police station, money was demanded from them. Radheshyam Mandal of the victim’s side, who reached the police station to file an application, told that there was a fight with Vidyanand Mandal of the same village over a land dispute. Reached Pipra police station to submit his application. The clerk present in the police station asked to pay the expenses. But since the victim’s side was not capable of doing so, the application was not being taken in the police station. Had to wait for hours after taking the application. SP said- investigation is going on, will take action
This video of Pipra police station went viral on social media and also reached Supaul SP. SP Shaishav Yadav said that investigation has been started as soon as the matter came to notice. Appropriate legal action will be ensured in the matter.
